Yes ERMS is different from HCMIS ERMS HR module focuses on facilitating management of some human resource information such as monitoring and tracking of daily performance of and individual staff on planned activities, annual leave, martenity leave, partenity leave ,etc. HCMIS aims to facilitate management of overall employee‘s records and payroll management. On the other hand, HCMIS aims at facilitating management of Government employees records and payroll systém.

ERMS is shipped with 18 modules integrating various functions into a single system. This unique capability makes ERMS a one-repository for data and information collection, storage, processing, sharing, and reporting. Planning, Budgeting, Accounts, Client Management, Service Management, Billing, HR Manager, Leave Management, Project Management, and Task Manager are some of the core modules of the system. Other modules are Procurement Management, Asset and inventory Management, Facility Management, Fleet Management, User Management, Manage Institution, Application Manager, Reporting, Settings, and Self Service.

ERMS supports two deployment options namely "Shared" and "On-premise". With the shared option, institutions can choose to use the system in a shared environment with other Government Institutions in the shared Government IT Infrastructure. This relieves institutions from all the hastles related to IT infrastructure and application management and administration in order to focus on their core business processes for which they were established. In some cases, some institutions may opt for on-premise option in which ERMS is fully deployed and operated in the institution’s IT infrastructure environment. .
